- John Price05.07.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★This place to me is the jewel on the Gibb River Road. The facilities are excellent and the AWC staff are helpful and friendly. The wildlife is amazing, the gorges are some of the best and the scenery is stunning. The road in is long and when I traveled it was mostly in very good condition although it has some steep water crossings and as a result is not suitable for large caravans. The camping area is large and well spread out and the lack of large vans means no-one is inclined to camp two metres from you despite having plenty of room to spread out. This was my favorite place on my 20,000km trip.
